Users simply have to connect the Palltronic AquaWIT IV system to the filter and let the system perform the full wetting and testing sequence. This is especially useful in automatically wetting and testing of single-use assemblies containing filters using minimum fluid volumes. Some hydrophobic gas or vent filters can be located in remote or awkward locations within a process. The system is ideal for testing such filters in situ. It will not only run the full preparation and test sequence of the Water Intrusion Test, but also control the pneumatic valves around the filter housing which need to be switched during the test phase.
