The process simulator release 12 from Inosim features a novel packaged goods simulation, which is tailor-made for the requirements of the chemical industry, integrates logistical processes at the recipe level. New tools for process development and production planning enable the development of more efficient process designs and production schedules, and new interfaces integrate the simulation software with multi-tool chains, so that Excel or Matlab data as well as thermodynamical databases from external providers can be integrated. Furthermore, the process simulator will allow the user to combine strategic planning with detailed simulations at the unit level via the connection of unit simulators made by the French company Prosim.
