Monitoring Microbial ATP from Living Cells for Validation of Milk
Various new methods have been introduced to replace or to complement
century-old microbiological measuring techniques. Luminescence quantification
of microbial adenosine triphosphate (M-ATP) gives the fastest positive
results, i.e. within 10 min for contaminated milk. Confirmation of positive/
negative results takes 6 to 48 h.
