Selection, Control, and Validation of Cleanroom Sanitizing Agents
Control and use of disinfectants in cleanrooms is an area of increasing
regulatory concern. Issues such as rotation of disinfectants, disinfectant
residues, and introduction of cleaning agents into controlled areas must be
balanced with disinfectant efficacy and toxicity concerns. This paper provides
an overview of available microbial control strategies and information regarding
the proper use and control of decontamination products in cleanrooms
and controlled areas.
